Consular Services

The Consular Section is open to the public between 10:30 and 12:30, however it is highly recommended to contact the Embassy by phone priory. 

Listed below are the main consular services provided by the Embassy:

  • Passports (new passports, renewal, lost or damaged passports)
  •  Legalization of Documents (Commercial; Documents and Certificates)
  • Family Booklet (renewal; new; add children; lost or damaged)
  • Personal ID cards.
  • Nationality (request of Jordanian Nationality; renounce Jordanian Nationality)
  • Emergency Travel Documents.
  • Power of Attorney.
  • Consular Certificates.
  • Good Conduct Certificate.
  • Non-Conviction Certificate.
  • Registration at the Embassy.

Note:
The Embassy would like to announce that starting March 1. 2022, new border measures for traveling to Jordan were effective, the following apply to all those who are traveling to Jordan, as follow:

  • Quarantine period for infected patients is 5 days from the date of PCR test and no PCR test is required after the quarantine period is passed. There is no requirement for self-quarantine to close contact persons.
  • All travelers to Jordan will no longer need to conduct PCR test before departure to Jordan nor will they need to conduct a PCR test upon arrival.

However, Non-Jordanian travelers to Jordan are still requested to register through www.gateway2jordan.gov.jo and receive a QR Code.
