The city of Noshiro in Akita Prefecture (Jordan’s Host Town for the Tokyo 2020 Games) has been a steady supporters of the Jordanian Olympic and Paralympic Team during their stay in Tokyo.
Junior High Schools of Noshiro have sent to gifts to the Jordanian athletes and written messages on Jordanian Flags to show their support!
On the 5th of August, the Embassy and Noshiro organized a Public Viewing of the Jordanian Karateka Abdel Rahman Al Masatfa’s matches in the City Hall of Noshiro, which was attended by over 50 people: Al MAsatfa won the bronze medal in his category!
On the 4th of September, an online viewing of the Jordanian Paralympic athlete Ahmad Al Hindi/Shot Put competition was organized during which Al Hindi broke a World Paralympic Record and won a gold medal.
On the 6th of September, the Embassy and Noshiro organized an online meeting that gathered Jordanian Paralympians with the City of Noshiro: Mayor Saito Shigenobu and Consul Talal Masarweh were among the speakers who congratulated the delegation on their great performance during the games, and the Paralympians expressed their gratitude to the people of Noshiro for their support!

مدينة نوشيرو تشجع الأردن خلال ألعاب طوكيو 2020
منذ بداية ألعاب طوكيو المنعقدة خلال الفترة من 24/07 لغاية 05/09/2021، ساندت مدينة نوشيرو (المدينة المستضيفة للأردن خلال ألعاب طوكيو 2020) وفدي المملكة الأولمبي والبارالمبي
قامت مجموعة طلاب من عدة مدارس في مدينة نوشيرو بإرسال الهدايا والرسائل التشجيعية إلى لاعبينا الأولمبيين والبارالمبيين الأبطال
كما قامت بلدية نوشيرو بتنظيم عرض مباشر على شاشة كبيرة لمتابعة منافسات لاعب الكراتيه عبد الرحمن المصاطفة الذي حاز على الميدالية البرونزية بتاريخ 05/08/2021 ضم ما يزيد عن 50 شخصاً من أهالي المدينة، وبتاريخ 04/09/2021 تم تنظيم أيضاً لقاء عبر تقنية زوم ضم رئيس وأعضاء بلدية نوشيرو وطادر السفارة وعدداً من المقيمين الأردنيين في اليابان وأهالي نوشيرو لمتابعة منافسات لاعم رمي الجلة أحمد الهندي الذي حقق رقماً قياسياً دولياً وحاز على الذهبية
