3月15日（金）、駐日ヨルダン大使館はヨルダンと日本の外交関係樹立70周年を記念して桜の植樹式を行いました。 大使館敷地内には「河津桜」と「神代曙桜」が植樹されました。
式典には日本ヨルダン友好議員連盟田中和徳会長、日本ヨルダン協会佐々木幹夫会長、奥山爾朗駐ヨルダン日本大使、マンリオ・カデロ外交団長、NPO法人育桜会松澤寛文会長をはじめ、前日本大使、外務省、JICA等の方々にご出席をいただきました。
式典は、リーナ・アンナーブ大使の歓迎の辞で幕を開け、過去70年にわたるヨルダンと日本の深く永続的な二国間関係について触れ、日本国民と日本政府の揺るぎない友好と支援に対する感謝の意を述べました。
この記念すべき日にご参加いただいた皆様に、大使館一同、心より御礼申し上げます。
On Friday March 15th, the Embassy of Jordan in Japan held a Sakura tree planting ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Jordan and Japan. A “Kawazu cherry tree” and a “Jindai Akebono cherry tree “were planted within the Embassy grounds.
The event welcomed the presence of distinguished guests including His Excellency Mr. TANAKA Kazunori, DIET member and Chairperson of the Japan-Jordan Parliamentary Friendship League, Mr. SASAKI Mikio, Chairman of the Japan-Jordan Association, His Excellency OKUYAMA Jiro, Ambassador of Japan in Jordan, His Excellency Ambassador Codelo, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Japan, Mr. Hirobumi Matsuzawa, Chairman of the Cherry Blossom Association (IKUOKAI), along with current and previous ambassadors, esteemed guests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, JICA and other dignitaries.
The ceremony was opened with a welcoming speech by Ambassador Lina ANNAB, who highlighted the deep and enduring bilateral relations between Jordan and Japan over the past seven decades. ANNAB expressed profound gratitude towards the people and government of Japan for their enduring friendship and support.
