Tokyo, Friday February 16, 2024: Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh met on Friday February 16, 2024 with Chairman and CEO of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Mr. ISHIGURO Norihiko. Dr Al Khasawneh expressed the need to deepen economic, and investment relations. Al Khasawneh highlighted Jordan’s business and investment climate, the potential for investment across a range of industries, and the Kingdom’s goal of attracting more Japanese investments.
President ISHIGURO, for his part, emphasized the importance of the partnership with Jordan, the country’s favorable investment climate, and the interest of numerous Japanese businesses in making investments there.
The total amount of Japanese investments in Jordan is estimated at $2 billion.
