February 20, 2024: Ten Jordanian participants* joined the “Ship for World Youth Program” 2024”, one of the international youth exchange programs carried out by Japan Cabinet Office. The program will last from January 24 – February 22, 2024
Thirteen groups comprising of 10 participants each from different countries in addition to Japan, with a total number of 230 participants, participated in the program.
Ambassador Lina ANNAB attended the Departure Ceremony in Tokyo held on the passenger ship “Nippon Maru” on January 29, 2024, at Tokyo International Cruise Terminal. Japan’s State Minister of the Cabinet Office Mr. KUDO Shozo greeted the participating groups prior to sailing on their planned study tour.
The “Ship for World Youth Program 2024” (passenger ship Nippon Maru) departed from the port of Tokyo and over the period of January 24 – February 22, 2024, will sail towards the ports of Kyoto, Hyogo, Kochi and back to Tokyo.
On February 20, 2024, Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio received a courtesy call from “Ship for World Youth Leaders Program” participants at the Prime Minister’s Office.
